Ready to get back in the sky?

We have been granted permission by PASA and CAA to resume operations for all licenced skydivers as well as all students busy with their AFF.

All jumpers will need to be paid up PASA members.


CAA Authorisation requirements before coming to the drop zone

Obtain the go ahead from CAA before coming out to the drop zone using this link:

You will receive an email from CAA granting permission, print this out and bring it to the drop zone. You will need a copy of this at the drop zone at all times. Applicants will be able to re-apply every 7 days.

In the case that you do not have a PASA number due to being a student you can fill in your ID number.

Pre - Manifest

Pre manifest is a requirement. I can be contacted on 072 303 9140 directly or through a WhatsApp message to be added to manifest.

You will need to fill out a COVID 19 questionnaire when arriving at the drop zone.

If you are not feeling well, DO NOT come to the drop zone.

No spectators are allowed on the drop zone and we discourage people over 60 years of age and people with underlying health issues coming to the drop zone.

When arriving at the drop zone

When arriving at the drop zone please proceed around the side of the hanger to the front entrance, enter via the front door and proceed straight to manifest for screening. Please be mindful of social distancing requirements at manifest and at all times on the drop zone.

You will be required to do the following:

  • Sanitise hands before entering
  • Screening - temperature taken
  • Provide copy of CAA registration
  • Screening questionnaire to be filled in - please bring own pen
  • Confirmation that you are in good health
  • Masks are to be worn at all times on the drop zone

No access will be granted through the side or back door of the packing area.

Getting ready for your jump

  • Manifested loads will be featured on screens inside clubhouse and packing area
  • Manifested load will be called 15 min before take off
  • In the case that you need to confirm anything with manifest please be mindful of social distancing.
  • Wash and/or sanitise hands regularly
  • Masks are to be worn at all times on the drop zone

Whilst busy with your skydive

  • Masks, a buff pulled down over the mouth and nose or full-face helmet with visor down shall be compulsory in the aircraft.
  • Talking to the pilot is discouraged unless essential to safety.
  • Our maximum load is 6 people
  • The handlebar, sides of door and door handles are cleaned prior to each load.
  • Aircraft is sanitised inside at end of each day and before start of each day
  • Nobody permitted to board without wearing a mask, a buff pulled over their mouth and nose or closed full face helmet.

After your jump

  • After each jump, please use hand sanitizer or wash your hands with water and soap as per government guidelines. Hand sanitiser is provided close to manifest, in the bathrooms, at the canteen and various other point around the drop zone.

Gear rental

Gear rental will be limited to one rig per student for a 4 day period i.e. a student will have a dedicated rig for the weekend.

General

  • The canteen will be open
  • The chairs will be removed from the canteen area, seating there is not permitted
  • Be mindful of social distancing across the drop zone
  • Wash and/or sanitise hands regularly
  • Masks are to be worn at all times on the drop zone
